A Conversation on the Shinkansen to Kyoto

Kentaro: Look, Joseph, that's Mount Fuji which we can see from the Shinkansen.
Joseph: Wow, it's stunning! How often can you see it like this?
Kentaro: Quite often, but it depends on the weather. The train we are on, the Shinkansen, which connects Tokyo to Kyoto, is known for its speed and comfort.
Joseph: How long will it take us to get to Kyoto?
Kentaro: About two and a half hours. It's amazing that this train, which was introduced in 1964, still sets the standard for high-speed rail travel.
Joseph: I'm impressed by how smooth the ride is. And the scenery is breathtaking!
